We’ve been so impressed with our Wagging Rights Dog Dock, and one of the things we especially love is how much thought was clearly put into safety. That was a huge priority for us when choosing a car seat for the pups.
One feature that really sets the Dog Dock apart is that it loops into the safety anchors in your car, so it feels much more secure and integrated into the vehicle than a typical dog bed or booster seat that simply sits on top of the seat. We love having that extra layer of stability and peace of mind whenever we’re driving with them.
We have a Jeep, and the Dog Dock fits beautifully across the back seat. It gives both dogs plenty of room to get comfortable without feeling cramped, and it’s plush enough that they can actually stretch out, relax, and settle in during the ride. For longer drives especially, we really appreciate that it feels more like a comfortable little lounge space for them rather than just a car seat.
The quality also feels substantial and well made, and we love that it manages to combine safety, comfort, and style. It looks polished in the car and doesn’t feel like an afterthought or a bulky pet accessory.
Since our dogs come with us on so many errands, outings, and adventures, having a setup that feels secure and comfortable is incredibly important to us. The Wagging Rights Dog Dock has quickly become one of our favorite pieces of travel gear, and we love knowing that the pups have a cozy, designated space in the back seat while we’re on the road.

This really is a wonderful car seat for your dog! However I only gave it 4 stars for a few reasons…first, the material that it’s made of gets very hot very quickly. If the car seat has been in a hot car watch out it’s going to be hot! There should be a warning of some sort on it! Secondly I’m not impressed with the clips on the straps that go around the vehicle seat to secure it. They are plastic and I feel that they are the main point of securing the seat and should be made of a stronger material. A metal clip would be much better.
Lastly, the clip that you clip to your dog’s harness is very flimsy. It doesn’t open smoothly and it feels as if it could break easily.
I feel they really cut corners on the clips. Other than those three issues I DO really like it and so do the pugs!
We are loving Professor's new dog dock, it fits easily into the backseat of a Volkswagon Toas, gives him plenty of room and I love how the front section can be unzipped. The material is nicer than I was expecting and seems quiet durable. I also love the color and appreciate how modern it looks.
This is perfect for my JRT! We travel far and frequently and have used many different products. She is rugged, fierce, and, a Princess who is very particular about comfort. We’ve put in about a thousand miles since installation and she loves it.! I also love that the nest can’t slip off the seat. It’s very well made and I highly recommend it. As I mentioned, she is a JRT and I bought the smaller version and it is a good fit.
Huge upgrade! This bed looks fantastic, and my dog adjusted to it immediately. His last bed was stiff and had developed that classic, un-washable dog funk... you know the exact stink I mean. The Dog Dock V2 is a total shows. The new LATCH / ISOFIX anchors keep it perfectly in place, and it's lightyears ahead of our old one!

Customer service is 10/10 and the bed is even better. It’s great quality and apparently so comfortable that it’s staying in the house. I’ll need to get another one for the car, haha. Please get one if you haven’t already!

LOVE this car seat for my little dog! We recently located across country and we had to drive ourselves and everything to our new home. This was a 20+ hour drive so I wanted a SAFE and comfy spot for my dog for this long trip. She LOVED the seat right away and slept like a baby very comfortable on the ride. Thank you so much, she continues to sit in her seat in the new house and loves it.
They like it so much they peed on it! We assembled the car seat in the house so the pups could acclimate. One of them peed on it (of course) but when I contacted Max- he said the pillow and pillow case are both washable- and they went through the laundry just fine (air dry). We have taken short drives in the car. I love the security of the harness clips and the overall design of the bed keeps my dogs safe and I feel less worried when we are driving. My dog dock arrived earlier than expected and I have had a positive experience with my communication with the company. I have two 12lb chihuahuas and they fit perfectly with plenty of room to comfortably drive in the car.
Fits my 18lb cavapoo! She seems comfortable. Secure attachment to the car seat hooks. I wish the clips for the dog were a little more sturdy; I worry that they could break with a strong pull or if a car accident occurred.
I don’t believe the proper pillows were sent. They barely fill the space they are to fill. They have been allowed time from packing to fully re-inflate but still do not live up to the promise. Is there any way new pillows could be sent? I paid a lot for this system and I’m very disappointed .
Upon receiving more information & directions, things have finally settled in just fine. The bed pillows have fully expanded and things look like they are supposed to (as shown on the website).
It’s a very comfy attractive bed in or out of the car. Love the two sided pillow. I can tell it will be very safe once properly set up in the car. Love the straps to carry it! And all the zippers which makes it easy to clean and set up!
We love the card dock! Our chihuahua Lou is so confident and comfortable riding in his new car seat! Makes for a safe, calm and peaceful car ride Everytime we go out !
My lab had terrible anxiety riding in the car even though he was always excited to go places. Riding in this bed has definitely reinforced his sense of security and comfort.
Great material, feels really cozy. My dog was never one to sit still in the car but he loves this. He’s about 25lbs and the medium works well. I wish they had one for me!
It is such a poorly taken photo. But I promise our dog Bean is using it. I love his new dog dock. Bean gets skittish when traveling and his new dock is not too deep that we can pet him if needed. But thus far I love the product.
My Golden Retriever puppy Miss Darcy loves her new car bed and I can take her on road trips without worry now. I plan to buy the XL when she is full grown.
Valentino has always struggled with car rides — he cries, shakes, and becomes extremely anxious the entire time. We’ve tried calming supplements and even medication from the vet. The supplements didn’t help at all, and the medication only left him overly groggy.
This Wagging Rights dog bed is the first thing that has actually made a real difference. For the first time, he seemed noticeably more relaxed and comfortable during the ride. My senior Goldendoodle is perfect except for car rides. Any change in velocity, torque, Siri instruction, or turn signal, he is anxious.
We have only tested one short ride, but he whined some with blinkers. So, we’ll give it some more time.
Rode for the second time today. He sat in the bed better and no whining, so I will continue to update!
I will say I am not as anxious knowing he is safe!
When it first came I wasn’t sure if the inserts were going to fill in very much, but they did! It looks great and my dog loves it. I got the smaller size and he’s 22 lbs.
Milo has always had a hard time getting comfortable in the car. With all the movement, he could never fully relax, he wouldn’t really lie down or even sit comfortably.
But ever since he tried this car bed, it’s been a total game changer! Now he sleeps like a baby throughout the entire ride and looks so cozy and comfortable. It makes me so happy knowing he can finally relax while we travel.

This bed is pricey, yes, but it is worth every penny! We had a typical foam dog seat for our schnauzer and he would rarely lie down, and didn't seem relaxed. We decided to go on a road trip and really wanted him to be able to sleep and this bed did the trick! He's still able to get enough of a boost to look out the window, but has more than enough space to spread out. We love that you can hook the seat into the car and then actually put the straps through back of the seat/into the trunk so that he isn't tempted to chew them. He's far more relaxed, has room to lay down and chew toy and we've noticed she settles down more easily in the car. My husband couldn't believe how much I had spent on a car seat for our dog but after seeing how much Howie likes it, my husband said this was fantastic purchase. (We have the XL)
